Since shortly after beginning my forestry education, it has been my dream to work with landowners as a consulting forester in order to help people achieve their wildlife management goals for their property.  Before attending The Ohio State University, I studied wildlife management and forestry at Hocking College, which is located in Nelsonville, Ohio, and is a town surrounded by the Wayne National Forest.  While living in Nelsonville, I spent much of my time hunting, exploring the national forest, and fishing too.  This is where I developed my passion for forest management in Ohio.  I learned about how vast and amazing our forests in Ohio are, but also about how lacking they generally are in diversity of forest habitat, and about how much the wildlife habitat within forests could be improved with proper forest management.  It was during this time that I decided to devote my career to using the latest forest management science available to help landowners create properties that are teeming with the types of wildlife that they like to hunt.  Few if any foresters in Ohio are as interested as I am in identifying your wildlife management goals and helping you design a forest management plan which achieves both your timber and wildlife objectives.
